Q. Does God permit such disobedience (to God’s law) and rebellion to go unpunished?
Considering the persecution of Christians in China at a lecture last week of the Calvin University January Series held at Christ Memorial (picture taken January 17th)… I am asking what Christians in the Reformed Church in America have been asking since 1628 from the Heidelberg Catechism… “Did God create humans evil and perverse like this?”
On the Chicago Riverwalk this weekend asking “What does God’s law require of us?” Week Two through the Heidelberg Catechism.
While serving as the pastor of Fourth Reformed Church in Holland, MI in 2017 (One Lord, One Church picture) we had the opportunity to ask each other some questions. We asked what Reformed Church in America people have been asking each other since 1628 through the Heidelberg Catechism.
At the beginning of a new decade, during the 52 weeks of 2020, I am going to be asking the same questions again.
I am hoping there might be some others who join me.
